Whenever anyone around you talks of spiders, you no doubt picture Marv from the movie “Home Alone” screaming away to glory when naughty Kevin places a spider look-alike on his face. (Yes, that’s him yelling in the gif above). Or the iconic spiderman swingin’ his way across the NY city.
But have you heard about the Greek town of Aitoliko entirely covered in cobwebs from everything ranging from your average house to even the road side shrubbery. The reason was not mysterious or even spooky. The town just had tons of gnats which the spiders loved eating and hence they spread out along the town fattened by their favourite prey.
