Nina & Nana in Crossroads

It’s hard enough to train children to road cross properly and not jay walk but when you have wild alligators who are apparently born with perfect civic sense, parents of small children are bound to wonder about their defunct civic genes.

Yet, that’s exactly what happened! Check out the awesome video of the alligator crossing the road at a crosswalk.

Kanika and I of course thought this was too juicy a titbit not to report to our Nina & Nana fans. Being something of a pun genius, Kanika of course, promptly thought of the chicken crossing the mobius strip.

The Wikipedia article about this century and a half old joke is quite interesting. Mobius strip technically has only one side and is one of those  weird mathematical breakthroughs that people like to discuss about.

“Why did the chicken cross the road?” is a common riddle joke, with the answer being “to get to the other side”.  A mathematical version asks, “Why did the chicken cross the Möbius strip?” “To get to the same side.”

Nina & Nana can’t of course stop chiming in.
