The crash

IMG_6154.JPG

The truck raced on past the intersection circle. The occupants of the blue car were leaning out of the open doors towards the traffic cop heedless of the looming danger. Jinnu watched with horrified fascination at the unfolding scene. He had always had a curiously high intellect considering the inane ordinariness of his parents while being completely devoid of empathy or sympathy.

His eager eyes followed the speeding truck towards the blue car. The truck finally crashed into the car sending both of them sprawling into the nearby ditch.

Jinnu’s mom came running in.

“Oh, you naughty boy. Have you already broken that beautiful road set Daddy got you yesterday?”

  2. Strange, I read this story after I linked up this week’s post with the Plane Crash. I don’t know why boys love playing crash with their cars. My little grandsons do it all the time driving their little cars all over my house and furniture! Loved this story…..
